Juliani has shared how his friendship with Lilian Ng’ang’a began, leading to a romantic relationship.

According to him, he had no intentions of courting the former Machakos first lady the first time they met.

He says they first met at a hangout organised by their mutual friend Boniface Mwangi.

“Beyond that i had never talked to her. I had no agenda with her and i never went out to have her,” Juliani told Saturday Nation.

The ‘Utawala’ singer added that Lilian made the first move to ignite their friendship by asking for his phone number, and later texting him.

“She sent me a message on my birthday and we started having random conversations. I think she was attracted to my philosophy and she wanted to find out more,” Juliani said.

In an interview with Nation, Lillian stated that meeting the rapper was like finding the last jigsaw puzzle piece, adding that their values were aligned.

“I like to call myself a thinker but when I met Juliani it was like I found the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle. His value and mine were aligned. Just the way he looks at life, what he values, what is important to him are the same things that are important to me and that is very rare,” said Lillian.
