Gospel musician, Philipa Baafi is back from her long hiatus and she has given her fans reason to justify her absence.
According to the ‘Go High’ singer, she took a break in her music career to go back to school to pursue a childhood dream.
Dispelling rumours that she went AWOL to concentrate on her marriage, she said: “it is not true that marriage and childbirth made me leave the music scene.”
“At a point I thought of going back to pursue that childhood dream in order to assist mankind. So thanks to God I’m on course and very soon I will become a fully-fledged medical doctor that’s why I was missing from the music scene.”
The gospel musician who is currently promoting her new single titled “It’s Well” said on Radio Central in Cape Coast.
