Ghanaian Socialite and Media Personality Efia Odo has recently indicated that she does not see the need for people to seek for forgiveness from God knowing clearly that they would go wrong again.
According to Efia Odo, who recently made peace again with Shatta Wale, she can hardly come to terms with the fact that she can’t be just a human being and needs to be begging God for forgiveness for being who He has created her to be.
She wrote:
“I never understood why I needed to pray to God to ask God for forgiveness. That’s like praying to God to ask God to forgive me for being a human being. God created everything in this universe including emotions so why should I ask God to forgive me for behaving in my emotion”.
From Efia’s point of view, the saying to err is human is not just for sake and as humans as we are we are always likely to commit sin.She therefore thinks it is not necessary for people to always run to God to beg for forgiveness as God created us and knows how we behave.See the screenshot below
