YY Comedian’s lover, Marya Okoth has given an update on her health since she was hospitalized earlier this week after her left foot developed some problems.
She shared a number of videos on her Instagram stories one of which she was being ridden in an ambulance and one where she was in a wheelchair.
Updating her fans on her well being, Marya remained calm amidst the challenges she is facing but hopeful that things will change for the better. She prays that her battles turn into a testimony someday.
She wrote,
“This is a great turning point in my life, I never thought a day would come when ad (sic) be unable to walk totally. This life is full of surprises, you can justwake up and everything changes without caution. However, I know this is going to be a testimony. Al never take any life privilege for granted.”
Moments after she was hospitalized, Marya shared a video of her man, YY Comedian attending to her, massaging her left leg, an act of service that left his woman in awe.
She wrote,
“I woke up one day and I realized I couldn’t move my left leg totally and this is because I have blood clots in my left leg. My man has been so supportive taking care of me in hospital. I hope to walk again soon.”
Back in May this year, YY Comedian found himself in hot soup after he filmed his sick girlfriend.
YY shared a scary moment of Marya Okoth in hospital, with the comedian saying Marya couldn’t breathe and had to be rushed to the hospital at 3 AM.
“3 am last night really got us. I was so scared @marya_okoth couldn’t breathe…I had to call an ambulance and she got stabilized at the parking before we left for the hospital to determine the cause.”
He went on to share the advantages of having an insurance policy.
“We thank God…with all honesty I have spent more than double what I paid to sign up for a medical cover but we still paid nothing …I Highly recommend during such times.”
The couple’s fans were left with mixed reactions because the comedian’s video looked more like an advertisement for a Nairobi-based hospital.
