Barely a week after Nigerian-American, Rotimi singer  had his Ghanaian counterpart, Mr Drew’s song pulled down by YouTube due to copyright infringement, the former has also been caught in a similar act.

Rotimi’s “Mega Love” which was uploaded to YouTube about five months ago has similar intro as Kofi Nti’s “Odo Nnwom” which features Ofori Amponsah.

The rhythm, “owae, wae, wae” which never existed anywhere until 2004 when Ofori Amponsah used it in “Odo Nnwom” off the Rakia album found it’s way on Rotimi’s 5-month-old song.

Following this development, Ghanaians are up in arms against the ‘Power’ star calling him “holier than thou.”
