Akothee rudely dismissed Kenyans seeking her help to assist girls stuck in Saudi Arabia, stressing that she doesn’t hold any position in government.
The controversial singer complained that she was being traumatized by the demands to assist girls who are suffering in Saudi Arabia.
“Kenyans please, I don’t hold any post in the government. Why are you tagging me along the girls suffering in Saudi Arabia? What do you think I can do? You know you traumatise me with this thing. Stop it. I am not in charge of human rights, not even dog rights. Ujinga sitaki,” Akothee ranted.
Akothee further reminded Kenyans that she did not seek any elective position in the just concluded August 9, 2022, General Election, noting that those who want help should get it from their elected representatives.
The mother of five said if people think she can represent them they should first elect her before they seek help from her.
“If you think I can represent you in government si munipe kazi kwanza ndio mnipe majukumu. I didn’t build a brand for you to misuse me, you know the hierarchy of the government, and who is responsible for what. I don’t know why you think I have solutions for you. Did you see me on any ballot boxes? Ever heard me speak about politics? Ever heard me Address the government? Eeeh Wereuru koda. Atim gigena apidhgo nyikwa yunita. Mnikomeee. Mnikomee, I will start charging that name AKOTHEE. ALA,” she added.
