2 Companies Confirm Revoking DJ Fatxo’s Contracts As Their Brand Ambassador

As a result of Jeff Mwathi’s mysterious death, companies have dropped Lawrence Njuguna alias DJ Fatxo as their brand ambassador.

DJ Fatxo has been identified as a person of interest in Mwathi’s death. The case is being investigated by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

The mix master has maintained his innocence in Mwathi’s death, but this hasn’t stopped companies from disconnecting him.

So far, at least two companies have confirmed that their contracts with DJ Fatxo have been terminated.

Lesedi Developers Ltd announced that it had severed ties with DJ Fatxo as a result of his involvement in Jeff Mwathi’s death saga.

In a statement, the real estate firm said that in order to maintain its values, it was necessary to distance itself from the musician-turned-DJ.

“Lesedi Group Limited wishes to address recent events involving our previous brand ambassador…….. We take these allegations very seriously as a company, and we have decided to part ways with DJ Fatxo as our brand ambassador.

We believe it is critical that we uphold our values and principles, and we will not tolerate any behavior that contradicts them.”

Certified Homes also announced the cancellation of its contract with DJ Fatxo.

In a statement issued on Sunday, March 12, 2023, the company’s management expressed solidarity with Jeff’s family and urged relevant authorities to expedite investigations to ensure justice is served and the perpetrators are brought to justice.

“In light of the recent happenings and one of our Brand Ambassador Dj Fatxo being mentioned as a person of interest in the ongoing investigations by the DCI leading to the death of Jeff Mwathi, we hereby terminate our contract with Dj Fatxo.

“We urge the relevant authorities to fast track the investigations in order to ensure justice is served and the culprits are brought to book.
