Giraffes are beautiful creatures.
We all love how they are tall and harmless. Normally, they are used to being the tallest thing around but when they are near a city full of skyscrapers, there’s plenty of competition. However, giraffes can sometimes be taller than skyscrapers, if a photographer takes a photo of them at the perfect angle.
Photographer Paras Chandaria managed to capture a tower of giraffes in Nairobi National Park which were strolling within what seems like touching distance of the towers in Nairobi. And from the photo, it kinds appears like the giraffes are taller than the towers.
The giraffes look like they are strolling just meters away from Nairobi CBD yet they are far away.
Paras Chandaria was more than excited to get the shot. He told Daily Mail:
”Nairobi National Park, is one of the most unique parks in the world and one of its kind. I couldn’t believe I was able to get such an amazing shot.”
By the way, did you know that despite how long it looks, a giraffe’s neck is too short to reach the ground? As a result, the giraffe has to awkwardly spread its front legs or kneel to reach the ground for a drink of water. Amazing.
