What a match? the 2018 Champions league final lived up to it’s expectations.

On one hand a Madrid team going for it’s third consecutive champions league triumph and on the other, a Liverpool team playing in it’s first final since 2007.

Less than half an hour into the match, then the worst happened for the Kop, Ramos hacking down their Egyptian god Mo Salah and forcing him out with a shoulder injury. Salah escorted out crying and with him went Liverpool’s hope of winning the match.

Sometimes i tend to think Ramos is a street thug masquerading as a soccer player.

And sure enough, Benzema fired Zidane’s men in front just six minutes after the restart benefiting from a school boy error by Liverpool’s goalkeeper. Karius threw the ball at Benzema for a simple tap in. Literally.

Saido Mane had other ideas though, finding a swift response for Liverpool four minutes later.

Then Bale came on for Isco and made it his own show. Cristiano Ronaldo was nowhere.

With the game locked at 1-1 in the 64th minute, Bale produced one of the finest goals ever witnessed in a champions league final.

An outrageous bicycle kick that left Karius gasping for breath. He had no chance.

Then the Welshman struck again with seven minutes to play. This time unleashing a fierce strike from range that Karius pushed into his own net. The Liverpool goalkeeper was having nightmares.

Madrid should thank Loris Karius for handing them a 13th champions league title with two school boy errors.
