According to MoveHub, a company that conducts surveys on countries, Ghana is the most expensive country to reside in Africa.
They based their assessment on a range of costs such as the price of groceries, transportation, utilities, restaurants and rent.
These figures are then compiled into an index, using the notoriously expensive city of New York as a benchmark.

In the ratings, Ghana came in at 53.89, ahead of the United Kingdom which came in at 51.03. Meaning, it’s cheaper living in the UK than in Ghana. No other African country made it on the list except Ghana.

The highest in the whole world, however, was Bermuda which stood at a whopping 126.34 making it the most expensive place to live in the whole wide world.
