These days there are so many newspapers and magazines you wouldn’t even know which one to choose from.

Back in the days, these 6 newspapers and magazines really go us hooked.

1. Playpen

The playpen magazine was distributed throughout schools in the country and it was very educative and most of us were hooked to it.

2. P & P

This newspaper bombarded us with nudity and so many fake news we loved it so much and every kid in school wanted to have a copy. It can be attributed to today’s PeaceFM.

3. Music In Words

Before YouTube and Google where you can easily get the lyrics to songs, we depended on “Music In Words” a magazine that was distributed throughout schools and had the lyrics to most of our favourite songs back then.

4. Ebony

Ebony newspaper was the twin of P&P but was more explicit and with their explicit stories, most kids back then were addicted to it.

5. Mirror

The Mirror is the grandfather of the entertainment newspapers in the country. Before all these newspapers, the Mirror reigned and still reigns. Most kids were addicted to this newspaper because it was the only one that swayed from the regular political stories.
