Hailing from the Central Region of Ghana, Ruth Maame Quarshie made waves on September 2nd, 2017 when she beat 9 other talented young ladies to win the much-coveted crown and title of Miss Universe Ghana.
With a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, the 23-year-old queen is no doubt a true definition of beauty with brains.
She believes in hard work, determination, perseverance and above all restoring hope to humanity and that’s why this year, together with the National director, Menaye Donkor Muntari (Miss Universe Ghana, 2004) and organizers of Miss Universe Ghana, she will be supporting two charities as part of the pageant’s special initiatives: Smile train and My Sister’s Keepers Foundation.
Smile Train is an International charity that creates awareness and provides funding and resources to offer free cleft repair surgery whiles My Sister’s Keepers Foundation is an innovative charity that supports educative and empowering initiatives for local women to enable them to make social impacts in their communities.
